I am a wedding photographer based on the Central Coast of California… in Cayucos to be exact!

My photography style is warm, dreamy, funky, authentic, comfortable, lighthearted, and fun. I emphasize movement over stiff poses and genuine emotion over anything contrived.

I’ve been taking pictures since I was a tot rockin’ a chunky plastic monster from Kodak. Some things have changed since then — although not too many. Mostly, I just drop my camera less and am a few feet taller. What’s stayed the same? My obsession with preserving memories and emotions as authentically as possible. I think this is because I’m the type of person who’s already nostalgic before the moment’s over… and because I have a pretty poor memory. Because of this, I’m drawn to the magic of collecting moments in an authentic way. I believe photography is about capturing life as it is; not embellishing or controlling the moment. I want you to remember the real, raw emotion of what you’re experiencing right now… not necessarily your perfect outfit or well-practiced smile. I’m here for belly laughs, double chins, and genuine joy. I’m pretty good at taking pictures but I’m really good at having fun, helping you feel like yourself, and … walking backwards.
